"Starting at 19.40, before the Elite Criterium race, this event provides a unique opportunity to go head to head on a specially designed closed town centre circuit. Teams must have four riders aged 18 and over and should be of mixed gender To enter the Relay Challenge please contact Dominique.Betts@Bournemouth.gov.uk. Entry is now free of charge thanks to support from Getting About. This year’s Relay Challenge is open to everyone living within a BH postcode and will start on Westover Road, taking in Gervis Place, Exeter Place, Bath Hill and other town centre locations. Teams are to be made up of four cyclists who must be aged 18 and over, with at least one female rider. Each team member will complete one lap of the circuit with the first full team across the line being declared the winners.
Any keen local cycling enthusiasts can enter a team by emailing Dominique.betts@bournemouth.gov.uk. Registration is complimentary and includes a free t-shirt and race number.
