Fielding Third at Junior Tour Of Mendips!


Harrison Fielding (Poole Wheelers) took third place on the 64 mile stage 1 of the junior tour of the Mendips. Fielding was part of a four man group that escaped at half distance. The quartet worked well together opening a gap of38 seconds on the bunch. Zac May (Wales Junior Development) won the sprint with all four given the same time. Sundays hilly, 60 mile stage at Chew Stoke, Somerset will see round 1 of the National Junior Series decided.

Fielding slipped back on stage two after being dropped on one of the many climbs,"It was a good learning experience and i know where to improve" said the Poole Wheeler who finished in 32nd place.
