VC Venta Club 10 : Race then Eat Out to Help Out!


Velo Club Venta – Club 10 TT Wednesday 19th August 2020
VC Venta are hosting a club 10 on the P751 Micheldever-Stoke Charity –Springvale circuit on Wednesday 19th August. Priority will be given to club members up to and including Sunday 16th August, however we will be able to offer spaces at this club event for guests.
Entry will only be accepted in advance by e-mail to racing@vcventa.co.uk. Once your entry is accepted we would ask ideally for payment of the £5 entry fee to be made by BACS although the correct cash will be accepted on the night. A full rider briefing sheet including details of how to pay will be sent prior to the event.
Sign-on will be open from 6pm with the first rider away at 6.45pm.
Race HQ is The King Charles Public House, 6 Lovedon Lane, Kingsworthy, SO23 7NU. The pub have kindly reserved five outdoor tables for our use so why not ride the TT and then stay to support the pub as it is taking part in the “Eat out to help out” scheme.

Full Course
START on the Stoke Charity-Kings Worthy road at Grid reference SU488346 by Southern Water Hut.
Proceed to the junction with the A33. SU497329. (1.2 miles).
Proceed to the junction with the A33. SU497329. (1.2 miles).
Turn left (M1) onto the A33 and proceed towards Basingstoke to the Junction on the left at the bottom of a dip, signposted Micheldever 2 miles, Stoke Charity 2 ¾ miles, Wonston 3 ¾ miles SU529392 (5.6 miles).
Turn left (M2) (Care, sharp corner) and proceed to Micheldever, where bear left (M3) at junction in the centre of the village, near to the church, signposted Stoke Charity 1 ¾ miles, Sutton Scotney 3 ¾ miles SU514391) (6.6 miles)
Continue towards Stoke Charity to the junction on the left signposted Kings Worthy 4 ½ miles, Winchester 6 ¾ miles. (Old Stoke Road) SU486392 (8.4 miles).
Turn left (M4) (Care, sharp corner) (Care at road narrowing when leaving Stoke Charity) and proceed towards Kings Worthy to
FINISH at point opposite a small layby.
