Perfs & Hard Riders TT Back for 2017

Next year's 52nd Perfs Pedal Race will be held on Sunday 12th February 2017.
The course will be the same as this year's event, 5 laps of Portsdown Hill then leaving to join the Newtown Circuit finishing at Hundred Acre Wood.
Race distance is 46m/74km

For 2017 Perfs riders will be able to enter using BC online entry. Maximum riders from one team will be 6.With road race organisation becoming more complex Mick Metcalf will again be assisting with next year's event, handling the on line entries and producing the race start sheet and rider's instructions.

To help ensure the safe passage of the race we will again be using NEG and BC Accredited Marshals

Perfs Pedal Winner 2016, Rory Townsend (Pedal Heaven RT)

The week after the Perfs race, VC ST Raphael/Waites Contracts will be running their Hard Riders Time Trial on the Portsdown Hill circuit.
Velo Club ST Raphael Waite Contracts have decided to raise the bar for 2017 as our event from the feedback we received this year’s was a success, we wanted to create a New Hard Riders course to mix things up a little Some people call it the hell of the South but after riding this we are calling it “The Pain on Portsdown Hill” slightly longer than the event from this year but also tougher. The event will will feature a prize for (Gran Premio Della Montagna or for Strava Fans KOM) at the 4.5 mile marker but the prize will only be awarded if you complete the full course. The event will consist of two categories TT and Road bike category and we hope the roadies of the world will come and see how they go against some of the best Testers in the South DC area and possibly further afield.
Good prizes, well marshalled and another course record up for grabs but best of all loads of cake.....
Feel free to train on this course and see you on the 19th February 2017
