The plan is to have a brief presentation at the end of the event. We hope you will stay whether or not you have won.

In addition, whilst this is a great prize list, we are aware that most riders have little or no chance of picking up one of
the main prizes. They may not ride for prizes, but they all ride to the best of their ability and we have thought long and
hard about the best way to recognise that effort - without resorting to random "spot" prizes which only recognise
presence, not achievment. There is no easy answer to that problem and no solution will please everybody. We just
hope that what we have come up with will be seen as a reasonable solution in keeping with the fun ethos of the event.

So, if you do not win one of the main prizes above, you will be eligible for one, and only one, of the extra categories
below, as long as you finish in under 40 minutes and stay for the presentation :

2nd placed team - because Poole Wheelers look quite strong for first, but second will be close
and difficult to predict because any main prize makes you ineligible for this
1st lady - normally a main prize but not enough entrants
1st remaining junior - normally a main prize but not enough entrants
1st remaining vet (scratch) aged 60+
1st remaining vet (scratch) aged 40 - 59
1st remaining other DC rider - this event is not viable without riders from outside our district, thank you
1st remaining South DC rider
1st remaining rider without a line 1 time
1st remaining CC Weymouth rider - blatant favourtism
2nd remaining other DC rider
2nd remaining South DC rider
3rd remaining other DC rider
3rd remaining South DC rider
Each and every other remaining Line 1 improver
If anything is left, which is possible, the remaining prizes will be offered to any wives or husbands, boy or girlfriends, children
or other family members or friends that you have brought along to support you - they work hard to tolerate our sport so also
need some recognition.
