Club News: Bournemouth Arrow AGM!

At a well-attended annual meeting of the Bournemouth Arrow at the new Club base in Winton College, members old and new paid tribute to the last 12 months and looked forward to 2013. Writes Alan MaCrae…………….
For his Go Ride work and establishing the Arrow Development Group, Dave Gilham was made a Vice President. Awards were also made to Richard and Emma Wyeth for running the Club 10s together with Pat and Trina Lockyer for their work with the SkyRide and Breeze Programmes.
Every week through summer 2013, Arrow members can look forward to the Tuesday Track League, Wednesday Open Track Training, Thursday Club 10’s and Friday Track Club night.
Open Events will be the Good Friday 10, plus 13th July’s DernyFest and National Women’s Omnium, which will provide the fastest racing yet seen at the new track and reflects the Arrow’s commitment to providing quality racing for women.
The “full house” signs at both the Club’s most recent Calshot Track Sessions and Friday night Wattbike sessions were a positive indicator for the season ahead.
Finally, an enthusiastic reception was given to the club’s new website created by club member Will Stevens. Will has asked that members let him know of anything they would like to see on the website. The site will be moved from .com to .co.uk during the week ahead.
