Calshot Track League #6 Collins in Control, Full Results

Alex Collins (Fareham Wheelers) continues to boss the Calshot league, picking up victories in the Scratch, Sprint & Unknown distance at latest round. Collins did not have it all his own way though, Elliot Cox (VC Venta),Joshua Knowles (Palmer Park Velo) & Harry Johnson (Fareham Wheelers) never letting the league leader relax.

Yes, numbers are down in the senior leagues but races & points still have to be won and Collins has done just that. The 17 year old from Fareham will move to Primera-Teamjobs for the 2017 season and will need to add some road stamina to his track speed. Perfs is his "home" race and the National Junior Road Race series are in his sights.

Simon Pettifer (Poole Wh) leads the B league ahead of Richard Eastham (Bournemouth Jubilee Wh), the pair fighting a private battle that too often Pettifer won. Both determined, one stronger. While the senior league numbers may be struggling the junior leagues are thriving, with enthusiastic, competitive racing. Calshot Track League continues next Sunday, 18th, before taking a two week festive break, then resumes on Sunday January 8th.
