Inter-Club Hill Climb Series Returns for 2013

The popular Interclub Hill climb competition returns on 22nd September with the Jubilee event on Kingston hill above Corfe Castle. The Jubilee event coming back to the Purbecks after last year’s visit to Okeford. CC Weymouth has won the competition three years running and will again be favourites to win local bragging rights. The Weymouth club cannot provide the individual winner but their tactic of packing out the field works well enough. Last year’s winner, Harrison Fielding (Peter Hansford Racing) has changed teams and will be a big loss to Poole Wheelers. Fielding just got the better of Simon McLaughlin (BJW) in the 4 race series last term. However, McLaughlin, winner in 2011 is already training specifically and wants his title back. The inter club series has revitalised the hill climb season in Dorset with 55 riders signing on for the final race on Whitway in 2012. CC Weymouth, Poole Wheelers & Bournemouth Jubilee are all in contention the big question is can Bournemouth Arrow rise to the challenge?
Sun 22.9.13 Bournemouth Jubilee Whs Hillclimb Stage 1 Kingston 11:00
