Bournemouth Arrow 50 Mile Reliability Trial

Heavy rain did little to deter the field at the Bournemouth Arrow 50 mile Reliability Trial on Sunday. Seventy Four signed on and “enjoyed” a wet, muddy morning in the lanes. Hot tea and cake back at the HQ at Bisterne revived the intrepid hordes who were soon swapping tales of punctures and wrong turnings. The finishers certificate is a nice touch from the Arrow and the first one “LR,LR” has won since coming third in the high jump at junior school in 1969! The ride out to Bisterne and back gives us 70 miles and along with Saturdays 2 hour Chaingang provides a good weekend of Intensive & Extensive winter endurance work.
