South Region Road Dates 2020

The South region 2020 road calendar is starting to take shape with the region hosting rounds of the Mens national road series and both the Junior Women & Junior Men National series. As usual the road season opens with the Perfs Pedal race in Hampshire, once again supported by "Local Riders Local Races” organiser Mick Metcalf will offer a prize fund in excess of £1000 for this local classic. Further west the 48th Severn Bridge Race takes place on the 1st of March. The Regional Championships on 7th June, the Winchester Criterium one week later and the inaugural Womens 2 Day race in Dorset in early September are just some of the highlights with further races expected to be added soon. Under The League International rules the Moreton Village series returns, now in its 15th year, the series provides that midweek racing fix down in rural Dorset, disappointingly there are no plans yet to run the popular Beulieu Heath races.
