BikeWorkX Bogfest 10 – 3rd & 4th November 2012
Welcome to the BikeWorkX Bogfest a weekend of 2 MTB Enduros, one for the seriously hardcore over 10 hours on the Saturday 3rd November and one just literally ‘for 6 and giggles’ on the Sunday 4th – ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN!!!

The BikeWorkX 10 is an 10 hour endurance, fast course race for Mountain bikers which stretches over a 9 mile (ish) lap in the amazing New Forest. Whether a top Pro Rider or an absolute novice, everyone is very welcome to take part in the challenge.

Finding a venue in the New Forest for your pit crew/ team mates to plonk themselves was a bit tricky but we struck gold when Nick & Jaqui of The Red Shoot Camping Park agreed to be the site for our lapping point. With hot showers, toilets and a pub on site, it really is the most amazing location.

The event is simple, do as many laps as you can in 10 hours either by yourself (Solo), with a team mate (pairs) or as a larger group (up to 4 people mixed). The categories and prices are as follows:

Solo – Male (18+) £36.00

Solo – Male Vet (40+) £36.00

Pairs Male (18+) £65.00

Open – Male (16+) £100.00 (up to 4 riders)

The event starts at 1030 hrs and will finish at 2030 hrs but, as long as you have started your last lap before the 1945 hrs cut off you will be able to complete it OR you might choose to have a hot shower and get in the pub! Sunset is forecast for 1630 hrs on this day so you must have lights that can last at least 5 hours.


BikeWorkX Bogfest ‘For 6 and giggles!’ – 4th November 2012
Venue: The Red Shoot Camping Park, Linwood, BH24 3QT

The BikeWorkX ‘For 6 and giggles’ is an 6 hour, ‘focus on having a laugh with your mates’ mountain bike event. The course stretches over a 9 mile (ish) lap in the amazing New Forest on Sunday 4th November 2012. Although the key here is a fun day out for all, we are happy for serious riders to enter as well if they want to bang out a hard 6 hour training session.

The event is simple, do as many laps as you can in 6 hours either by yourself (Solo), with a team mate (pairs) or together i.e. ride at the same time (Dual) or, as a larger group (up to 4 people mixed).

The categories and prices are as follows and are for men and women, there are no prizes up for grabs here, it’s just for fun:

Solo – Anyone taking part on their own (18+) £20
Pairs – Anyone doing a relay with a friend (18+) £28
Dual – Anyone riding with their friend throughout (18+) £36
Freedom Team – Any group of people up to 4 in a team riding changing over whenever they like (16+) £56
The BikeWorkX ‘For 6 and giggles’ starts at 1100 hrs and finishes at 1700 hrs as the sun goes down, then it’s time for a nice roast in the pub on site and home. We have a cut off time off 1615 hrs to start a final lap so all are to be back on site, safe and sound, no later than 1730 hrs.
